Premium Languages

The whole Bible. In the languages in which it was inspired.

The Premium Languages Membership gives you Greek and Hebrew together, the complete path to reading and studying the New Testament and the Old Testament in the original languages. One membership, one community, one integrated experience in Tutor.

$89/month or $979/year as an upgrade. Less than buying both memberships separately.

Greek opens the New Testament. Hebrew opens the rest.

The New Testament quotes or echoes the Old Testament over three hundred times. Paul's argument in Romans is built on Genesis and Isaiah. John's Revelation is saturated with the Hebrew prophets. The New Testament writers were not beginning a new conversation. They were continuing one that had been running for centuries, in Hebrew.

A reader who has Greek but not Hebrew is following half the conversation. You can read what Paul writes. But Paul is often arguing from what Moses wrote, and without Hebrew you cannot follow him all the way there.

The Premium Languages Membership is the complete version of what reading Scripture in its original languages actually means. Not two products combined, one path, through the whole Bible, in the languages God used to write it.

Everything in both memberships. Plus three things exclusive to Premium.

Premium members have full access to everything in the Greek Mastery Membership and the Hebrew Mastery Membership. The grammar, the exercises, the vocabulary, the cohorts, the community, the Office Hours, the cohort review, the reading calls in Genesis, all of it is included. In addition, Premium adds three things available only at this level.

The three things only Premium adds

Advanced Greek Grammar Workshops

Deep-dive sessions on specific Greek grammatical structures: participles, infinitives, verbal aspect, voice, and more. Led by Neil. These go beyond what Beginning Greek covers and build the analytical tools that rigorous exegesis requires. Not introductory explanations, advanced workshops for members who have the foundation and are ready to go deeper.

Cohort Reading Calls

From level 8 of the success path, the point where Beginning Greek is complete and you are reading into the New Testament, the cohort reading calls take a group of members through the Greek text lesson by lesson, together. Reading Scripture in Greek, in community. This is what the whole path has been building toward.

Greek Certification: included

Greek Mastery Members can add Greek certification for $100. Premium members receive it as part of their membership. The certification demonstrates a defined level of Greek competency and is available to members who have completed the relevant stages of the success path.

The advanced sessions are led by Neil.

Neil

Neil tried to learn Greek on his own for twenty years. Then he learned it through BMA. He now leads the Advanced Greek Grammar Workshops and the Cohort Reading Calls, and has developed a serious handle on the technicalities of the language that those sessions demand.

His story is not unusual at BMA. It is, in many ways, what the whole path is for: the person who wanted this for years, who tried the available options and stalled, who finally found the method and the support that made the difference. Neil now brings that experience, and that precision, to the most advanced content on the path.

What members say

From Premium Languages members on the full Greek and Hebrew path.

Without BMA I would not be able to read the New Testament devotionally in Greek. It has made the Bible fresh and come alive to me.

Nicholas Alsop Premium Languages Member

I knew delving into the languages was going to make me think more on the text, but as a blessing, I did not realize just how deep in the depths of meditation it would take me. God's word had never been so transformative like this to me.

Brian Shank Premium Languages Member

It was about 6 months ago when I realized I was just reading the text and not having to stop, and that I was recognizing things like cases and gender more quickly in my devotional time. That meant that my time, money and effort was paying off. As frustrating as learning grammar can be, this was a big milestone in my mind.

Forrest Cole Premium Languages Member

I read John 6 devotionally a few days ago and was able to pray through different interpretations of Jesus' words. I felt like I had a lot more clarity reading and praying through Greek instead of a translation. It brought me a lot of peace.

Shawn Jewell Premium Languages Member

I am more intentional with my Bible engagement. I am less inclined to let the words just pass through me without engaging. Still learning basics. Very much looking forward to reading books of the NT and also some of the apostolic church fathers.

Start with Greek Mastery

Premium is added to an existing Greek Mastery or Hebrew Mastery Membership. New learners start with one of those memberships and upgrade from inside their account at any time.

You might be wondering...

What is the difference between Premium and buying both memberships separately?

Three things. First, the price: $89/month versus $115/month for both separately, saving $26/month. Second, access to the exclusive Premium features, the Advanced Greek Grammar Workshops and the Cohort Reading Calls. Third, Greek Certification is included in Premium. For Greek Mastery Members, certification is available separately for $100.

I am currently a Greek Mastery Member. How do I upgrade?

Premium is available as an upgrade directly from your account at any time. You do not need to wait for an enrolment intake. If you need help, contact support and we will process the upgrade for you.

I am new to both languages. Should I start with Premium?

Premium is an upgrade for existing Greek or Hebrew Mastery members, not a separate entry point. New learners start with Greek Mastery or Hebrew Mastery and then upgrade to Premium once enrolled. If you are committed to both languages from day one, the cleanest path is to join Greek Mastery when enrolment opens and upgrade to Premium immediately. You can do the same starting from Hebrew Mastery.

What are the Cohort Reading Calls?

From level 8 of the success path, once Beginning Greek is complete, cohort reading calls take a group of Premium members through the Greek New Testament lesson by lesson, together. Led by Neil. You read the text, work through questions, and experience what the path has been building toward.

Is Greek Certification included?

Yes. Greek Certification is included in the Premium Languages Membership at no additional cost. For Greek Mastery Members who are not on Premium, certification is available for $100. See the certification page for full details of what the certification covers and how it is assessed.

Start with a language. Upgrade when you are ready.

The whole Bible. The original languages. Greek for the New Testament. Hebrew for the Old. Advanced workshops and reading calls for the depth that serious engagement with Scripture requires. Certification included. This is the complete path, and it begins on the Greek or Hebrew Mastery page.
